The version of "Betcha Say That" appearing on the third disc of the 3-CD limited edition release of Essential Gloria Estefan 3.0 in 2010 is the single version running 3:40. The only previous CD appearances of that version were the promo CD single as well as a promo compilation titled Hits, which came out in 1988.

Thanks for the data, Jim. I thought I recalled the commercial single being the 3:37 version, but then Pat's comment in the database completely threw me off -because it indicates only that the dj cd single is the short version.

Perhaps a more accurate listing for the database should read "the dj cd singles and commercial singles run ..."

Gordon, both my commercial 45 and both sides of my promo 45 have the exact same timing info: a listed time of (3:40), but an actual time of (3:37). And I was VERY careful to capture EVERY millisecond of its fade-in intro. And although it was very early in this format's existance, I also happen to have a promo CD single for this (ESK 2789), which also has a listed time of (3:40). But the actual time for my promo CD single is (3:39). Pat, in the database you indicate that dj copies of this single run (3:40). All CD appearances run 4:37. Is it correct to conclude that the commercial single itself was 4:37?
