I <em>do</em> have the CD single for this!  Lost in the shuffle, for sure.<br /><br />The 45 version is indeed an early fade of the LP version.  If you want to recreate the edit that's on the CD single, first find the downbeat at 3:56, then back up to the first hit in the drum fill, which will be at "1-AND-2-and-3-and-4-and", at 3:54.3 (timing from my CD single - yours may be a little off).  Then add a 32-beat fade from 3:54.3 to the first hit in the next drum fill at 4:09.8.<br /><br />I have the CD3, too, and "One Good Woman" is a differently-EQ'd digital clone of the promo CD single version.<br /><br />FYI - "One Good Woman" tops the list of my "great chorus/terrible verses" songs.  Right along with "Should I See" by Frozen Ghost...]]>
