I just gave this song a listen on the "Love, Glory, Honor & Heart" CD Box set that Warner released in 2021... the set has both the
LP and Single Edit versions of "One Good Woman", and they both have a noticeable downward pitch bend at the 3:14-3:15 mark.

The same pitch bend is noticeable in the official music video, as posted by Warner Music Vault:

database still shows "LP version" for this track. From what I read in this

Just checked, and there's no pitch shift.

It's recorded with a live drummer playing to a click track, and there's no drift at all in the song.

Oh, yeah. I do have the CD single for this! Lost in the shuffle, for sure.

The 45 version is indeed an early fade of the LP version. If you want to recreate the edit that's on the CD single, first find the downbeat at 3:56, then back up to the first hit in the drum fill, which will be at "1-AND-2-and-3-and-4-and", at 3:54.3 (timing from my CD single - yours may be a little off). Then add a 32-beat fade from 3:54.3 to the first hit in the next drum fill at 4:09.8.

I have the CD3, too, and "One Good Woman" is a differently-EQ'd digital clone of the promo CD single version.

FYI - "One Good Woman" tops the list of my "great chorus/terrible verses" songs. That's a good point. The database still lists the lone CD with "One Good Woman" as having the LP version. If it really is just an early fade, it should probably say "length."
