This is probably worth noting in the database since the 7:00 "Suave Mix" also appears on Expose's Greatest Dance Mixes CD (Thump 206579024), which is presently designated with a generic "remix" comment. I initially thought the "Suave Mix" might be a 12" single version; however, I am unable to find any evidence of a 12" single release for this song (there is no such listing on the Discogs or Ebay websites). I love the Suave Mix, too - and only knew of it being on the "What You Don't Know" album at the time. I knew it was 7 minutes but was unaware of the 5:19 acoustic version until now. Is this just an edit of the 7:00 version, and if so, I'm curious if anyone knows where the edit points are. As much as I love the Suave Mix, the original single mix is my favorite. And if I recall correctly, the album mix was pretty muddy compared to the single (my memory has been tested a lot since coming back to this chat a few days ago! I haven't thought about these things for years)

However, I've also seen listings for other versions of this song clocking in at 7 minutes, one called the "remix" and one called the "Acoustic version". I've also seen a different Expose CD that lists a 7 minute version called the "Acoustic Version/Suave Mix". I'm starting to think that maybe there's just one 7 minute version with all these descriptions, but does anyone know for sure? Are there actually two different 7 minute versions? Pat, your database lists a 6:59 "acoustic version" on the "Dance Remixes" CD (which I don't have). Can you compare that version with the "Suave Mix" at the end of the Expose/"What You Don't Know" CD and determine if they are one and the same? Thanks.

Edited by EdisonLite
