Update: With some help from Aaron, I compared my mono promo 45 to the stereo stock 45. The mono promo sounds like a dedicated mono mix
(but nothing added or missing from the stereo mix), stronger horns, sounds like some clipping/leveling added, it doesn't fade out the same
way as the stereo 45 mix (it stays louder longer with a shorter fade out), and is pitched up 1.7% in Adobe Audition, compared to the
stereo stock 45. The "Bobby Sherman" CD on K-Tel is .1% slower than the stock single. As far as the fade out times on CD being different,
I notice that the fade on the "Bobby Sherman" CD fades out slightly early. I don't have the original vinyl LP to compare these findings

That reminds me that I actually saw Bobby Sherman in concert at Seattle Center in, oh, 1969 or 1970. I think my sister's Camp Fire troop went as a group, and me and my brother tagged along so my mom wouldn't have to get a babysitter.

I barely remember it, as I was only about four years old, but I do remember me and my brother getting yelled at by my mom for cutting up and chasing each other around the aisle instead of watching the concert. The trail out of Little Woman on my 45 reads ZTSP-144763 followed by a backwards S in a circle, followed by backwards writing, the numbers of which (when shown normally) would be, i think, 18950. It is a styrene pressing and the matrix numbers are hand written. It has a listed time of 2:22 and a playing time of 2:26. The audio gets really low at 2:23 but upon blasting my digital dub for the fade out i can hear the song continue to 2:26. This was the first time I had played that side of the disc, i had purchased it for the Bob Dylan tune on the flip side. My deadwax info for "Little Woman" is "ZTS 144418-1L STEREO." Guess that takes the mystery out of that one, Tom.
