my commercial 45 issued as decca 30085 states the run time
on the label as 2:26 but actually runs 2:39 and is
identical to the import cd "classic bill haley & his
comets:the universal masters collection"......which
includes the handclaps & 'yeah!'......this 45 listing info

I just noticed that on both the "From The Orig Master Tapes" and MCA's "Vintage Music Vols 17 & 18" this song is missing the handclaps @ 1:02 and the "Yeah!" at 1:32. This appears to be an underdub and the DB should probably be changed to reflect that. My question is, does the "20th Century Masters" have that same version? If so, is the correct version available anywhere on CD? This isn't the only Bill Haley song on "Orig Tapes" that isn't exactly the same as the 45. Yikes!
