I was told that the 45 version couldn't be created from the LP, but I've never actually tried it. After listening to a dub of a local friend's 45, in trying to recreate the 45 version, call me crazy, but:

1)The opening :11 of the LP version sound like a complete different take up to the word "socks." You can hear how the equalization changes at the :11 point, like a different take was spliced in.

*Edited to add* - I think there is some harmonica at about 2:00 on the 45 that is unique and cannot be taken from the LP.
