Wanted to add that this 4:53 "Edit" is actually a subtle remix by Shep Pettibone, and is identical to the "Album Edit" included on the Maxi Single releases, and the "7" Edit" included on the GHV2 album.

This would likely depend on where one lived, but at "Deeper And Deeper"'s peak, the hit radio version (on 3+ stations in my area) was unquestionably the "David's Radio Edit" issued on a 3-track promotional CD single and running 4:03.
