I believe the only versions that have the "tag" removed are the LP versions, as there was a pause between the fadeout & the "tag" on the LP.

The single has no such 'pause' as the "tag" is segued/crossfaded on the 45 version to overlap the music fade.

Good info, Jim. Perhaps some of those (4:23) versions cut off the acappella ending. Aaron, the lyrical line that you cite does appear at the very end of the 45 version. I've heard some CDs that chop off the acapella ending ("everybody's got a little light under the sun"). My commercial 45 has a listed time of (4:28) and an actual time of (4:27).
