Both are mono.  Both sound like a fold-down of the common stereo version, but I can't confirm.<br /><br />The mono version from the 1991 Polydor CD is indeed missing some instrumentation, compared to the stereo mix.  (Listen for the absence of horns around 1:05.)  Unless this mono mix was on a mono LP in the US or UK, it's likely a "previously unreleased mono mix" or something to that effect.]]>

I assume your promo 45 has both mono and stereo versions speeded up, but does anyone know?<br /><br />GM]]>
