I've just purchased this Collector's Choice CD and noticed that all but three songs are in mono. When I e-mailed CC to inquire all I got was some idiot who kept saying the same thing over and over and then when I persisted he got rather snotty. (Business must be pretty good over there). Anyway, my question is: When did Faron Young begin recording in stereo? It's hard to believe that "Hello Walls" would his first stereo release. Especially when Capitol was among the early stereo labels. Yet I can't imagine CC being that sloppy - although their "customer service" certainly was a surprise. Can anybody enlighten me? CC sure can't.
