Author: Bill Cahill
Subject: 3533
Posted: 26 May 2008 at 7:22am

The mono DJ is a different mix than the stereo issues. Outside of subtle mix differences where the guitars and other instruments are punched up at various times for mono AM radio play, the use of reverb is the most significant difference.

At 1:39 as the song goes to bascially two bass hits, there is little if any reverb on those hits on the stereo version, but the mono has signficant reverb added. This happens again to a lesser degree on the first of the two bass hits at 2:54.

There is some more reverb barely noticable elswehere on some instrumentation throughout the song, but the above are the two most obvious points, especially at 1:39.
