Sorry, Pat.
I was supposed to mention "(:09 shorter than the 45 or LP)". Because the 45 runs (3:52). I though that the comment of the CD has (:04 shorter than the 45 and :08 shorter than the LP).

Also, does anyone know the actual run time of "Cars" on The Pleasure Principle vinyl LP? Thanks, abagon. This info is especially useful given that CD run times for "Cars" range from 3:48 to 3:56.

By the way, "Cars" originally came from Gary Numan's 1979 parent LP The Pleasure Principle. This album was reissued on CD in the U.S. by the Beggars Banquet record label (catalog #80010). The run time for "Cars" on this disc is 3:56 and is in stereo.
