(This info comes courtesy of Abagon).  The only reason I post this information is because all database CD appearances of this song to date clock in from 3:33 to 3:35.  I'm wondering if the CD run times are reflective of the LP length, or perhaps the 45 might have been cut at a slower speed?  Does anyone have the parent soundtrack vinyl LP <em>Urban Cowboy</em> from 1980 who can report to us the run time for "Stand by Me"?<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Todd Ireland</span>]]>
