But this wasn't an official commercial single release during the song's airplay run in 1991, right? Regarding Janet Jackson's "State of the World", the database currently displays an "LP version" comment next to the lone CD entry. However, given that a commercial single was never issued for this song, an "LP version" comment probably doesn't apply here since there is no 45 version counterpart.

I was living overseas at the time "State of the World" was a hit, but I don't recall exactly which version the Armed Forces Network played.
