I believe the 45 version is just a late fade in and
early fade out. Starting with the The Nylon
Curtain, keep the section from 0:35 to 6:26. As
others have mentioned, the chopper fade in/out gets lost
in the noise on vinyl, so it's hard to be too precise,
but boosting the sound, my promo copy seems to run at
least 5:49, maybe 5:50, and is also about one second

I timed the 45 at 5:46, but it was a little difficult to get the exact starting point (it's a fade-in), so I could be off by a second or so.

Just checked on ebay. They have label scans of both the commercial and DJ 45's and they both have a label time of 5:48.
