That JCI series of discs all have 20 tracks, and they occasionally do an early fade to cram everything on there.  <br /><br />There's a similar early fade on UK's 2-CD <em>Now 1986</em>, but with a different mastering.  Probably faded for the same reason, although I don't know how long the UK single runs.<br /><br />Best compilations for this song are <em>Billboard Top Hits 1987</em> and <em>Forever '80s</em>. The actual commercial 45 run time of Chris DeBurgh's "The Lady in Red" is 4:13, not 4:16 as stated on the record label.  Database CDs containing this song all run in the 4:10-4:15 range, except one... On the <em>1985 - Only Love - 1989</em> CD (JCI 3186), the database shows the song with a time of only 4:03.  Is this shorter time due to an early fade, an edit, or something else?]]>
