Hi Pat - yes the indicator means the soundtrack version is
not the hit. On the soundtrack it is a soft acoustic
guitar version. The LP also contained an instrumental
version that also completely different than the hit.

Just a quick update on the mono vs stereo version of "I Got You Babe". I just now got around to performing a precise A/B comparison between the mono and stereo mixes of Sonny & Cher's "I Got You Babe" and I've come to the conclusion that both contain the exact same vocal take. good idea, Pat. well, i just took some time to a/b them and I believe they are the same vocal take. The mix makes them sound a bit different at times, but my vote is the same.
