Pat, there are 11 seconds of instrumental edited out of the LP version before the fade. These extra 11 seconds are on the 45. The LP version is not an early fade. You are correct. All I read was the first part pf Pat's sentence, saying the 45 was 3:47.

In looking at listings on GEMM and Musicstack for the 45, they list the time as 3:38, which matches the LP time.

Aaron, is your 45 labeled 3:38 as well?

The database will need to be changed for "Suzanne" by Journey. It currently says "LP length," when in fact this is an "LP version." It's one of the rare cases where the 45 is unedited, while the LP is edited.
