I noticed this too, Jim, and am very excited about Hip-O Select's upcoming James Brown The Singles Volume 6 set because it will mark the CD debut of two Top 40 hits: "Brother Rapp (Parts 1 & 2)" and "World (Part 1)"! Amazon originally indicated a release date of December 9 for this compilation, but evidently Hip-O Select elected to push back the date. In the end, I anticipate it will be worth the wait!

After what I believe has been more than a year since the last installment of this Hip-O Select series (Volume 5) was issued, I have just seen an entry on Amazon for (and pre-ordered) Volume 6, which should be resuming with 45s released around the spring of 1969.
