The version on Ace "The Golden Age Of American Rock'n'Roll Vol. 10" is the original mono version, and, to me sounds like it's from tape. Does anyone know if the correct 45 version of Jerry Butler and the Impressions' "For Your Precious Love" has ever appeared on CD anywhere that's mastered from a tape source? It seems like CDs featuring the stereo mix contain additional overdubs not found on the 45, while discs sporting the mono mix appear to be mastered from vinyl.
