The 45 version is found on a UK BBC Radio promo Eagles collection called Best Of The Eagles. Sounds pretty good, too.

I don't have the CD myself, though, so I don't have any other details.

The promo 45 is the same as the commercial 45. Was there a difference between the promo and commercial 45s on this? Offhand, I can't think of any Eagles songs where the promo copy was a different edit than the commercial one (other than "Lyin' Eyes" having the album version on one side).

I never owned the 45, but the edit points are etched in my mind.

The edit/rearrangement is too taxing to describe in print so I'll just edit it in Sound Forge.

You changed Eagles' "Take it to the Limit" from "LP length" to "LP version". (I always thought it faded, too).
