My stock copy runs an actual 4:02. I'm not Doug, but I'll accept the award on his behalf. ;) It's just an early fade. My DJ 45 states (3:52) but the actual run time is (4:00).

Using the track from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' Greatest Hits, fade for 16.025 seconds from 3:44.598 to 4:00.623. After further investigation, I do believe the 45 runs (3:52) (by comparison, the LP runs (4:25)). Well, since I brought up a 1980 single that didn't hit BILLBOARD's top 40 before in Rush "The Spirit Of Radio," let me try another one on for size. Is the 45 of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' "Here Comes My Girl" an edit of the LP, or is it the same?
