    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://top40musiconcd.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=49">MMathews</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4615<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12&nbsp;January&nbsp;2013 at 5:49pm<br /><br />a friend of mine was friends with, and worked extensively <br />with the (late) owner of Renaissance, who first issued <br />this series.  since his passing, the label was dissolved <br />and another corp. has renewed the licensing for the <br />series.  <br />From what i understand, i'd estimate about 10-15% of the <br />tracks in the series are sourced from vinyl.  <br />Main reason for this was ownership of the music changed <br />hands but tapes did not (all too common a story.)<br /><br />To me tho, I'd rate the overall sound of the series as <br />"very good", considering.<br />MM]]>
