I believe I read a question on the Board recently, wondering if a place existed in 2009, now that ICE Magazine is no more, where new current/catalog CD releases, and their street dates, are published for the benefit of consumers. Upon purchasing a CD yesterday from Amazon Marketplace merchant Import CDs (FYI, the business name's a misnomer: they stock primarily domestic CDs), I just noticed that I qualified for a free issue download (normally skeptical of such offers, this one came with with no signup/requirement to provide a credit card # "string" attached, for once!) of an e-magazine they produce in association with Amazon.com. It is called "Discussions", and after a quick browse I see that this publication appears to provide the desired new current/catalog CD release info. I tried to find/provide a direct site link for this e-mag, but I can only currently get there from the Import CD "thank you for purchasing/your CD was shipped today" e-mail notification. I'm sure a more computer-savvy Board member can locate/provide a URL.
