Just curious, Aaron, what is the run time you come up with on your commercial single copy?

By the way, did we ever come to a conclusion regarding Aaron's earlier questions as to whether the "Radio Version" is the same as the LP version without the coda, and if the "Original Mix" (a.k.a. the single version) is identical to the LP version without the coda and introduction? (I have a strong hunch the answer is yes to both, but of course I know we never form any conclusions here on hunches!)

They sound the same to me on the line "pissin' the night away." Listening more carefully in headphones, both versions sound like they say "pissin'." Perhaps when I wasn't hearing it clearly at first, I had too much whiskey drink...too much vodka drink...

It does sound a little bit like an "s," now that you mention it. I'll have to pull out my commercial CD single to see what the "Original Mix" sounds like on it. I'm not sure I've ever even heard the LP version, so perhaps that's why I wasn't aware of the difference. Thanks for pointing it out, Ron!

Perhaps these CDs have the "Radio Version." I have a 3:56 version on my Promo Only CD (cut about a second short, as it ends a little abruptly if you crank the volume at the end). The promo CD single also has these tracks:

1. Radio Version (3:57)
2. Original Mix (3:32)
3. Gunshot Mix (5:19)

Is it accurate to say that the "Radio Version" is the same as the LP version without the coda? Is it also accurate to say that the "Original Mix" (aka 45 version) is the LP version without the coda and introduction?
