"The Way It Used To Be" by Engelbert Humperdinck only made it to #42 on BB, yet it's listed. My understanding is it's a composite of both charts.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://top40musiconcd.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=12">Brian W.</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5384<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 02&nbsp;February&nbsp;2010 at 1:11pm<br /><br />Unrelated, but I think this song provides more evidence that, as Randy Price claims, Cash Box was still a completely sales-based chart in 1971.  <br /><br />"Sweet Inspiration/Where You Lead" peaked in Billboard a full month after its Cash Box peak, and it had dropped off the Cash Box chart completely a full two weeks before it hit its PEAK in Billboard.<br /><br />Since one would assume that Billboard and Cash Box received reports from roughly the same radio statoins, that doesn't seem to make sense, unless airplay was not a component in Cash Box at that time.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Brian W.</span>]]>
