I recently came across an official CD-R promo with the "Special Radio Edit." The Cds Arista 14625 "Totally Hits" & Time-Life M19152 "Best Of The Boy Bands" listed in
the DB have different versions, but there isn't a difference attributed to them.

Aaron, our station also played that version on-air as a current. We received in two different promo CD singles for this song back in 1998, and here are all the details:

My old top 40 station always played the "Radio Edit (Without Rap)" version of "When The Lights Go Out." There's no mention of it in the database, but my Promo Only runs 3:55 and contains this version.
