Nearly seven years later... The 45 version of "Lorelei" is a slight remix. There is different reverb on the opening keyboards, and as John has already noted, the vocals are mixed louder. Revisiting this one, today I got in a promo 45 for "Lorelei." To me, the vocals seem more prominent than what's on CD. Plus, not sure if the 45 is faster than the LP version or not, but when Ed asked me a few weeks back to assist him with fading the CD version, I couldn't get it to match directly with the 45.
