Author: jimct
Subject: 5826
Posted: 08 August 2010 at 4:16am

My commercial 45 (confirmed as London 9751, with deadwax of "DR 34933-1E", followed by "triangle 56668") has both a listed & actual time of (2:14). I only post this info because, although the eight current database CDs that feature this run only run :01 or :02 seconds longer than my 45 does (at either 2:15 or 2:16), my 45 sounds obviously sped up, in comparison to the CD versions. Being a shorter song and all, I know of other instances where only a second or two of actual time difference can still jump out to the human ear to be quite noticably different aurally, and I'd like to nominate this 45 as another example of this.
