This was also the main video version of the song (though there was also a video for the remix featuring BlackStreet.)

A similar situation occurred with a later Janet single, the 2002 release "Someone To Call My Lover". The commercial single featured a So So Def remix as the lead track despite the Single Edit (of the LP version) being the dominant hit on both radio stations and video networks.

Confusing stuff when going by the criteria we like to use for determining hit versions of songs.

Both the sleeve and the label of my 45 list the "TNT Remix Edit" as "Side 1" and the "Jam & Lewis Feel My Bass Mix - Radio Edit" as "Side 2". The "LP Edit" does not appear on my 45.

The version I recall hearing on the radio featured BLACKstreet, who appear only on the "TNT Remix Edit". Both the database and the Hot 100 credit the song to "Janet featuring BLACKstreet". Furthermore, the Hot 100 lists Teddy Riley as one of the producers, and he only co-produced the "TNT Remix Edit".

I don't have either of the CDs currently listed in the database as containing the "45 version", but according to another board the "Number Ones" CD contains the "LP Edit".
