They're way down at -60 dB, so I
never noticed them before.

Total run time, from garbled syllables to the last cymbal
tap, is 4:03. I can certainly understand if you can't hear
them on a cassette or a 45. (There was a commercial 45,
with the instrumental as the B-side, and a hilarious
picture sleeve!)

My copy actually runs (4:02), but the database says (4:01). The vocals start at 0:02 with chatter and an inhale breath heard during the first couple seconds. At the end after the last drum hit, I count 5 cymbal taps.

My "Rap's Most Wanted" compilation has only two cymbal taps at the end, but the last one is part of the dead space leading into the next track. If the disc was properly indexed, it would actually run (4:01). Thanks K-Tel!

Edited by aaronk

I'm pretty sure it runs 4:03 like the cassingle (including the intro chatter and drum machine cymbal taps at the end). Pat, if you don't have this CD, I'll locate my copy and post the details. The same disc also contains the top 40 hits "Knockin' Boots" and "Around The Way Girl."
