After confirming with my old promo 45 and using the "Taken In" track off the Mike + The Mechanics album, the song begins to fade at 3:44.05 (at the beginning of the line "When you say you understand...") and is completely over by 3:55.25 (at the instrumentation after the end of the line "when you reach out for my hand...") If you do it correctly, the word "hand" should be the last word you hear before the song goes completely inaudible during the instrumentation at the end of the fade at 3:55.25 (if that makes any sense.)
