The 45 is an edit and early fade of the LP version. Here
are the edit points (using the Sony "Hits of 1984" CD as
the source):
- Starting at the downbeat at 2:06.9, delete through the
equivalent downbeat at 2:25.5
- On the resulting shortened file, delete from 3:55 to the
end (technically I show the end of the fade as 3:54.5 on my
version).
- Start the fade at about the 3:40 mark on the shortened
file
