Ryko have created their own
unique edit
with a few extra seconds of the
intro left
intact and a longer fade, plus a
slightly
tidier splice in the guitar solo
than the
actual single edit.

https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/thre
ads/le
ts-dance-bowie-single-edit-on-
cd.326809/

So the version of "Day-In Day-Out"
on the Ryko
edition was another incorrect
recreation of a
45 edit much like the wrong edits
of the
Let's Dance singles.
Aditionally, the
second CD of that Ryko compilation
has a
unique edit of "Loving the Alien"
which is a
shorter version of the LP version
running
4:43, but the actual 45 version of
that song
is a different mix.

Edited by David Pro

He says the vocals begin :04 later on this CD than on the 45. As a result, the run time on the 45 is 4:10, while the run time on the CD is 4:14. Has anyone else caught this?
