The version that starts out with the drums without the sung intro is the stereo album version, im not sure if the mono album version was the same but i would assume not. Here's one for vinyl aficionados. On another board that just recently opened about oldies (moderated by Bob Shannon, who did afternoons at legendary WCBS-FM before the format was hi-jacked), there was discussion about "Dawn (Go Away)" by the Four Seasons. Were there two 45 versions of this song (one with a sung intro that said, "pretty as a summer morn'" and another with that begins with drums which is then immediately followed by the word "Dawn")?
