My copy of this 45 runs (2:26) and fades considerably before it hits the cold ending you mention Ed. My LP also runs (2:26) and fades completely by the time it reaches the (2:26) mark so there is a very minor difference between the 45 and LP. Good question Ed. The Time Life disc fades out. Don't have any of the

my commercial 45 for the freddy cannon song "abigail
beecher" issued as warner 5409 states the run time on the
label as 2:26 and does indeed run that length and ends
cold....the import cd version i have fades out and runs
2:22....pat, do any of the cd entries end cold and which
ones fade out as there are disparate running times of
