I wonder if the stereo side of the promo 45 had the extra
reverb?

Anybody have it to check?

13 years later, I was listening to the 45 dub the Music
Prof has on his channel and I'm hearing the opening vocals
with reverb. The CD versions don't seem to have the same
reverb the 45 does.

I have promo 45 deadwax #'s M14765 74L 6297 STEREO RE-1 K-8871 / M14765 74L 6297 M RE-1 K-8872 Stereo/Mono respectively. Good info, Ed... I'm wondering if the 3:01-3:02 length that regularly shows up on CD may be reflective of the album length. my commercial 45 for the donny & marie osmond song "morning
side of the mountain" issued as mgm/kolob 14765 states the
run time on the label as 2:55 but actually runs
2:54....you'll need to pitch up the version on the curb
"greatest hits" cd which runs 3:01 to 137bpm's to match the
2:55 run time....this 45 run time info should be noted in
the db...
