The 78 RPM original has no reverb. The 45 RPM issue later on did have reverb added. Not a Pop chart hit, but a true R&B classic, I'm hoping some of you intrepid collectors can help me out with a question about Etta James' "The Wallflower (Roll With Me Henry)." The version on the Heart & Soul box set is bone dry -- no reverb, but has stunning sound quality. All other versions I've heard have varying degrees of reverb, but I haven't found any that sound as good as the box set. My question is, is there reverb on the original 45 (or 78)?
