When I fold down the stereo version (I used the track <br />from <em>Donna Reed's Dinner Party</em>) the choral vocals almost disappear.  <br />The stereo vocals are panned left and right just enough, with almost none <br />mixed in the middle, to somehow bury them when put to mono.  On the <br />original 45 (Columbia 43626) and the Hall Of Fame reissue (33104), the <br />singers are much more prominent in the mix.]]>
