on what CD do you have this? I have it on "The Songmakers Collection" (Q
Records Atlantic Warner Special Products, 2001) where it runs about 2:36.   I
can tell there might be an edit at the 1:18 mark, however I do not have a
longer version to compare it with. At any rate, running at 2:36 it either

although not in the db because of it's low peak chart
position of number 37 in mid 1961, my commercial 45 for the
lavern baker song issued as atlantic 2099 lists the run
time on the label as 2:37 but actually runs 2:39........the
45 version is the same as the cd version up to the 1:18
