Fade the ending from <strong>2:18.222</strong> to <strong>2:23.911</strong><br /><br />2. Stretch by <strong>103.19%</strong>.  That is not a typo.  I imagine it was hard to keep the speed in the right ballpark when the song was originally waxed direct to Edison Amberol cylinder.<br /><br />Total length should be 2:28.502... which is a little short of a quarter to three. ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://top40musiconcd.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=24">edtop40</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7668<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06&nbsp;September&nbsp;2013 at 5:31pm<br /><br />my commercial 45 for the gary us bonds song 'quarter to <br />three' issued as legrand 1008 lists a run time on the <br />label <br />as 2:29 but actually runs 2:27......the version on the <br />varese 5938 cd 'the very best of' is pitched up way too <br />fast...in order to create the true vinyl 45 version <br />you'll <br />need to slow that cd version down to 80.90 bpm's and then <br />fade for 0:06 from 2:21-2:27 of the pitched down <br />track....pat, when time permits you may want to review <br />which 2:27 tracks on cd have the correct pitch <br />version....the way you can tell the pitch difference is <br />that the vinyl 45 doesn't have the clapping and 'yeahing'  <br />as the song fades and the 'very best of has 0:04 of <br />clapping and 'yeahing' not found on the vinyl 45....<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by edtop40</span>]]>
