As Imperial used Bunny Robyn at Radio <br />Recorders for mastering, as Lew Chudd (Imperial's founder <br />and CEO) often had these recordings sped up for 45 RPM and <br />LP release. And this is also likely where the reverb was <br />added. So, the slower version without reverb may well be <br />the raw master takes without post processing. ]]>

I don't have all the Imperial 45s, but as far as I can tell the Ace CDs contain the 45 versions, mixes, and edits with the exception of "Natural Born Lover", as Ed pointed out in the thread about this song in 2014. (the 45 is an edit of the Ace version).<br /><br />The <em>They Call Me The Fat Man</em> box did not stay in print very long. It was soon replaced by the <em>Walking To New Orleans</em> box (which I don't have) after Capital claimed to have found better tapes.]]>
