My reissue 45 runs (2:23) not (2:30) as stated on the record label. Yes if you fade the version on the Best Of Joey Dee at the appropriate location you will get the single version. Be careful as the version on the "Best Of" is slower than the reissue 45 that I have. To date, there have been only two domestic CDs containing Joey Dee & the Starliters' "Hot Pastrami with Mashed Potatoes" and both include Parts 1 AND 2. The 45 consists only of Part 1 and Whitburn reports the 45 run time at 2:30. I don't have the 45, so I'm wondering...
