I see what you mean. After a little more research, that and the aforementioned '93-'03 release both feature the (~ 4:42) "Promo Edit"; indeed, not clean. Since that edit became available on the expanded "Older" album in 2022, it has effectively been much easier to license and I understand the logic of using that version (as played on the radio) instead of the longer (5:24) album / single version.

They’re definitely talking about Fastlove.
In response to whether a clean version has been commercially released, I know it has been and appears on the “Now! That’s What I Call Music 96” (a UK release) released in 2017. It’s the album (5:24) length but clean. Two subsequent appearances on UK Now compilations seem to also be this length, but whether those ones are clean I cannot confirm. A cursory Discogs search reveals:
  • “Now That's What I Call 40 Years” (2023)
  • “Now That's What I Call 40 Years: Volume 2 1993-2003” (2023)

What's the catalog number of your 1-track promo? "What's My Name" was definitely a 1-track promo, but I've never seen a US 1-track for "Gin And Juice." With George Michael's passing yesterday, I've been
revisiting some of my lesser played George Michael
tracks.

Ed was kind enough to send me a copy of his radio edit,
which did not censor the word "bullshit." Using Aaron's
editing instructions, it's very easy to create the
"bullsome" edit, yet the word makes no sense. LOL.

My copy is from Top Hits USA and they reverse the word
on "shit."

Tony Moran was commissioned to remix the track, but ultimately DreamWorks SKG decided not to use them (his mixes). They were never released nor promoted.   Eventually,
his full mix leaked, and it's amazing.   Very similar to what he was doing at the time with Gloria Estefan, Michael Jackson, and Tina Arena.
