Good info, Jim... According to Amazon, the Bangles Different Light parent CD release on Wounded Bird 4039 contains the "Extended Dance Mix" 12" single version of "Walk Like an Egyptian" as a bonus track. I don't have this mix but if anyone wishes to compare any of the database CDs to the actual 12" single version, there are currently a bunch of audio/video uploads of the latter on YouTube.

All but two of the many db CDs that include this song feature the 45/LP
version. But two CDs do include a longer, (5:49) version, which Pat currently
shows as "remix". I strongly suspect that these two CDs include the version
found on my stock 12" single (Columbia 44-05935). Here are its particulars:

Side A:
1-Extended Dance Mix (listed time 5:48)

Side B:
1-Dub Mix (listed time 5:17)
