I agree with Pat. That said, if you posted samples on a web page that you set up and posted the URL that would be different. I do not know what legal complications, if any, that would pose for Pat as the operator of the board (allowing posting of access to copyrighted materials).

I do not know about the legality of posting short song samples. I know ITUNES for example allows you to listen to 1 minute samples of a song but they probably have permission to do so.
