The Alternate 7" Version is the US 45 version. What they
have marked 7" Mix just fades a few seconds earlier, in
fact, it sounds to me as if they faded it manually. It's
possible that shorter version was the way it was issued in
the UK or something. But the Alternate 7" Version is the

I just picked up the new Diana Ross cd Why Do Fools Fall In Love (Expanded Edition) on Funkytowngrooves 383. As bonus tracks they list Mirror, Mirror as track 11 with the notation 7" mix which runs (3:58) and the very next track is Mirror, Mirror with the notation 7" alternate version which runs (4:04).
