Author: davidclark
Subject: 823
Posted: 09 April 2006 at 6:54pm

I just pulled my mono Neil Diamond 45 of the above, and I conclude the following. On the mono 45 there is an additional vocal overdub from 1:08 to 1:15 and from 1:23 to 1:29, tambourine taps from 2:10 to 2:31, bell overdubs from 2:30 to 2:42 and a tambourine shaking at 3:17 for a few seconds, all not present on the stereo LP version; 45 timing is 3:30 (a few seconds longer than the stereo LP version) not 3:08 as stated on the record label.

Anyone else notice these things? Also, does anyone have a clean version of this? Mine was played to death when I was 8 on my record player that needed a wieght on the tone arm to track.
