I think I figured it out.

The various artist CD on Amazon called Platinum Hits 2000 indicates explicit. If anyone has it can they check?

When I was doing my intense research for the 1998 top 10 recently I thought I would mention this concerning this song:

The song does indeed have a radio edit that censors the language. However when you go back to the 5:20 on the CD, guess what, it removes the language also.

So that led to me questioning where the explicit version of this song is (I am big on having the clean/explicit where at all possible as most of you know when I assemble my cover art and collection). There was no "warning label" on any CD printings showing an explicit CD.

That led me to youtube where there is an explicit version, but timing is the same as the radio edit. That leads me to believe that the explicit version can be found on the 12 inch vinyl version of the song, since all CD promos mention clean radio edits.

Unless anyone can direct me to an explicit copy of the song on her CD or CD single, that is the only place it could have possibly come from. This is a great mystery since most artists always get the explicit version on their albums and the radio edits are there so they can be played.

It appears that B1 on this 1998 US release is the only place to find the explicit:

About a year ago, I purchased an official Columbia 1-track CD-R promo without a catalog number:

1. Rapless Edit w/Intro (actual 4:09)

This version is a bit misleading, though, and it would be better described as "Radio Edit w/Intro." All they have done is taken the first :04.8 of the instrumental (where the piano is by itself), looped it once to make it :09.5, and tacked it in front of the Radio Edit. This would give the DJ an intro to talk over, since the normal Radio Edit starts cold. Confirmed. The track on Miseducation fades out by 3:58, and then a "classroom" skit is tacked onto the end. I think this might be a case where the LP track has a skit tacked onto
the end of the song. I'll have to listen to my Miseducation CD to be
sure, but I'm betting the Grammy CD is the LP version without the skit

Cool. Now the question remains--because both versions time out to
about four minutes, the Grammy CD can't be the radio edit nor is it long
enough to be the LP version. And I don't remember if it's faded (I'm on
