The censored version was a big hit on KDWB at the time. To be fair, it only made it to #34 in the Hot 100, so it
wasn't really much of a hit to begin with. Even back in
'77 I don't remember hearing it on very many stations.

Thinking back to your comment from just one day earlier, John: when I heard "Cinderella"'s opening guitar strums on the radio this afternoon, I laughed out loud, then quickly realized I 'd better pay attention to see which version it would be.

Turned out to be the uncensored 45.

In fairness, the classic hits/oldies station in question plays a broader selection than most. Sadly, radio now only plays 1 or 2 Firefall songs and
this isn't one of them. I always liked this song and
